Welcome to the trainee FAQ!

Welcome to our FAQ section for trainees! As a trainee, you are often faced with many questions about training, starting a career and everyday working life. We have put together this FAQ to help you prepare for your apprenticeship and answer any questions you may have.

In dual training, phases alternate between the company and vocational school. So you work in a company to gain practical experience and at the same time attend vocational school to gain theoretical knowledge. At Sun Garden, you will attend vocational school two days a week and work at the company on the other days.

An apprenticeship offers practical experience in a specific professional field, whereas a degree course is often theoretical in nature. Apprentices already earn a salary during their training and have a good chance of entering the job market directly after completing their training.

You will need a cover letter, a CV, copies of your most recent references and, if applicable, further evidence such as internship certificates or certificates.

To register in the applicant portal, please visit our applicant portal.

We offer our trainees regular feedback meetings to actively promote their personal and professional development, but also to give them the opportunity to share their own impressions.

Under certain conditions, it is possible to shorten the training period, for example if you have performed well at vocational school or have already acquired previous knowledge. Should the wish to shorten the training period be expressed, this will be discussed with the responsible training manager.

After completing your apprenticeship, you will have various options open to you, such as being taken on by the company where you trained. However, it is also possible to pursue a degree or further training as a specialist or business administrator after the apprenticeship.

A typical day during your apprenticeship depends heavily on your current department. Take a look at the daily routine behind the scenes at Sun Garden.
